I believe I started using "zumet" in 1996.
At that time I was really into playing Magic The Gathering^tm cards, and I was bulding on a griffin deck.
So when I needed a screen name, I simply used the initials of my first five griffins (below).
I quit playing the cards in '98, but I've kept the name

Other screen names I might use are "922.50", "zzzumet", "zzZ" or just "z"
